Demonstration against the TPB verdict in Stockholm


A demonstration was held today in Stockholm in response to the verdict in the The Pirate Bay trial.

The demonstration was arranged by the Swedish Pirate Party.

This verdict led to the biggest growth the history of the party during a single day.

FRA demonstration


Another demonstration was held today in Stockholm by the Pirate Party, this time in response to the proposed law that would allow surveilance of most communication passing the Swedish border. The law would mean that the Swedish National Defence Radio Establishment will be able to tap into all e-mails, phone calls and other internet usage.

The organizers were Piratpartiet together with Ung Pirat, Liberala Ungdomsförbundet and Ung vänster.

Pictures from the piracy demonstration





Demonstration in Stockholm.
A one hour demonstration was held today in response to the raid on The Pirate Bay, Piratbyrån and more on May the 31:th, where over 100 servers were seized. This without any proven criminal offence.

The demands of the demonstration were that the Swedish goverment, instead of criminalizing more than one million of their citizens should seek a compromise in the issue.

The organizers were Piratpartiet, Piratbyrån, Grön ungdom, Liberala Ungdomsförbundet and Ung vänster.
